The story of this Oyster Harbors home
involves twin weddings that bookended
its origin. The Chicago homeowners were
first introduced to Osterville when one of
their twin daughters was married in nearby
Cotuit. The homeowners, who met in Boston
40 years ago while in college always hoped to
return to New England. While planning their
daughter’s wedding, they fell in love with
Osterville and immediately started looking
for their own property.
The front façade to this home is a symmetrical shingle-style design featuring
classical columns on the sprawling farmer’s porch.
