such a disaster of a B&B would become my career of
over fifteen years now?
At first, it was all craziness, managing chaos at
every turn. Trying to renovate while staying open
for business is a challenge to say the least; but on
the back of a rogue prayer mixed with some sweat
and tears, A Sunset Chateau has grown into a truly
exquisite oasis.
It is a destination with fantastic views and
opulent suites, but more importantly it is a haven
of transformation. In the long timeline of noncoincidences,
this is the most divinely appointed
project in our family’s lives. We would have been
happy for it to simply be a nice business, and
somewhere to meet and serve people. In reality,
it has become a place where people completely
rediscover themselves; where one can receive healing
physically, emotionally, and spiritually without
having to pay a price.
I’ve personally witnessed everything from people
growing new teeth and missing organs growing back,
to cancer disappearing and handicapped people
walking again, the list goes on and on.
Fifteen years in, thousands of people have left
healed in one fashion or another, with a new sense
of worth to God and to themselves, and that is what
truly makes all the hard work worth it. Chalk it up
to whatever you like, there comes a juncture where
the seemingly impossible transcends explicability
and you know that you were meant to be in a certain
place at a certain time, a divine appointment.
Every day is a gift, an array of significant moments
carrying the potential to form and shape us, some
easy, some difficult, preparing us for the greatness
that lies ahead. I hope that if you feel drawn to visit
our city for any reason, take the leap of faith and
experience Sedona for yourself. Blessings. |||
