latest album, So On and So Forth, was recorded in Asbury Park. His fi rst autobiographical work,
So On and So Forth is a memoir of sorts, a reminiscence on the ten years from his fi rst Asbury
Park boardwalk show to touring with Patti Scialfa to arriving into his own identity as a musician.

Grammy®-winning co-founder of Carolina Chocolate Drops, Dom Flemons recently completed
a recording for Smithsonian Folkways celebrating the songs of black cowboys. Known
internationally as The American Songster, Flemons has mastered banjo, guitar, harmonica, fi fe,
bones, bass drum, snare drum and quills in addition to singing. His comprehensive knowledge
of American folk music and simple, perfect playing earned Flemons slots in Carnegie Hall’s
Tribute to Leadbelly and as a featured performer for the opening of the National Museum of
African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.
