RARE AND EXCELLENT QUALITY PACKARDS
1956 PACKARD CARIBBEAN “ASK THE MAN THAT OWNS ONE”
The most desirable and rarest year for the Caribbean was 1956 with only 276 convertibles being built. This one is originally from a private collection of a longtime
Packard enthusiast who cared for it for many years. It is equipped with the 310 HP 374 cubic inch overhead valve V8 engine with dual four barrel carburetors, three
speed twin-ultramatic automatic transmission and power assisted four wheel drum brakes. Options and accessories include 4 way power seats, power brakes, power
steering and rare reversible seat cushions. The Caribbean has some of the best handling features of any full-sized automobile of its era and this example is ready for
continued driving enjoyment by a caring new owner.
1942 PACKARD “180” CLIPPER
This 1942 Packard is one of only two remaining and has only 77,141 documented miles. This untouched and only cosmetically restored Cavalier Maroon Packard
was delivered on December 11, 1941 to Forrest Gill in Chillicothe, Missouri. Twenty years later in 1961, it was sold to David Campbell also of Chillicothe and sold in
1973 to Jack Finden of Topeka, Kansas.
Being body # 51 out of some 100 Senior
Clippers built, it is the earliest example to
survive. The other 180 Clipper known to
exist is #61 and resides in Wilmington,
Delaware. This rare piece of automotive
history earned “Premier Senior Winner”
First Prize CCCA National Competition.
Options include electromatic clutch,
overdrive, center-mounted rotary
antenna, trippe lights, dual Packard
script back up lights, push button Philco
radio, two heaters, defroster, bumper
end tips, vanity mirror, correct Packard
fender skirts and the one year only 1942
hubcaps.
