Formerly, property owners were billed at various times throughout the
year, as each fire protection system came due for testing. With the recent
code modification, customers will instead receive an annual, consolidated
bill for all of a building’s fire protection systems. The annual bill will be
sent directly to property owners to limit confusion and eliminate wasted
resources. This should also ease record keeping and administrative work
for property owners and management agents.
The modification is expected to begin in February 2019. There will be no

Ocean City recently upgraded the beach parking kiosks which makes
parking in the downtown area easier than ever! The new system charges
for parking based on vehicle license plate numbers, which replace the “pay
here’s what you need to know:
1: Push Start to Begin.
2. Enter license Plate Number, then Press the Green Button.
3. Insert Coins or Credit Card and Follow on Screen Instructions.
4. Press Green Button to Complete Transaction & Print Receipt
(if desired).
5. There is No Need to Place a Receipt on the Dashboard, You
