I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! The clubhouse is
fully decorated for the holidays. We love this time of year and
hope to see many of you and your friends and family here for
lunch, dinner, our many events, New Year’s Eve Celebration,
shopping in the Golf Shop, or whatever reason(s), we are
happy to spend the Holiday Season with you. I would like to
take this opportunity to thank all our GlenLakes members
for supporting the club throughout this year and making
each event a success. I would also like to thank my entire
clubhouse staff for their hard work and dedication this season.
They have sacrifi ced time with their own families to make
sure they were here to keep the club thriving during these
busy times. We are gearing up for the holiday season with
Christmas parties, exciting menus and holiday drink features.
We are going to start December off with the Holiday Arts
& Crafts Boutique on Sunday December 2nd in the Grand
Ballroom. Vendors will have handmade items for sale starting
at 10:00am through 3:00pm. Stop in for some holiday
shopping and then head down to the Grille Room or 19th
Hole for lunch and a cocktail. Entertainment featuring the
New Relics during the Friday night dinner dance on December
7th. Breakfast with Santa will be on Sunday December 9th.
Get your photo with Santa and enjoy Chef Mik’s breakfast
buff et including an omelet action station. Wednesday
December 12 we will have a wine dinner. Last year the Taylor
Mason comedy show was such a success that we brought him
back for Friday December 14th. Doors open at 7:00pm for
cocktails and showtime begins at 8:00pm. The Grille Room will
open early at 4:30pm Friday December 14th for any members
that would like to have dinner prior to the show. Karaoke with
Tom Crusey will be on Tuesday December 18th in the Grand
Ballroom. Friday night dinner dance with entertainment by
Cover To Cover on Friday December 21. Roaring 20s New Years
Eve party on December 31.
Going forward the Grille Room will open at 4:30pm on
Monday nights only.
The following items Black Angus Prime Rib, Roasted
Porterhouse and Strip Steaks are no longer available to be
phoned in for pick up. You could place your order for these
items to go when you arrive at the clubhouse so that these
items are cooked to your preference and temperature.
As a reminder Please inspect your to-go food items prior to
leaving the clubhouse. The staff takes great care to make sure
everything is packaged correctly using clear lids and new
larger to go bags.

and 19th Hole. Please feel free to fi ll one out and drop off
in the membership dues box located outside the grill room
doors.
