It was a beautiful evening for food, wine, dancing and opera under stars at the Lowes
attended and sampled the culinary delights of 7 featured restaurants including desserts.
We were also able to try 33 different wines from sweet–dry and white–red. I tried them all

FYI- The art form known as Opera originated in Italy during the Italian Renaissance. It was
mainly attended by the nobility but as it grew in popularity the audience included the general
public. All Operas incorporate 5 distinct art forms: vocal, orchestral music, drama, visual arts
and dance. The famous opera composer Gioachino Rossini said to the Naples conservatory
was made conductor of the college conservatory orchestra. He went on to compose many
operas, symphonies and concertos. He later was named director of the Naples Conservatory,
a position he held for 30 years. Today a newly renovated Opera/Concert House in Naples,
great, great, great uncle. And now you know the rest of the story.
