Vehicle Registrations
If you have purchased a new vehicle, sold a previous
vehicle on fi le or received a new license plate number
please make sure to update the Community Center with
that information. This updated information is required as
many longtime residents have purchased or leased new
vehicles or received new tags from the DMV, leaving much
of our databases out of date. The information gathered will
be used to verify/update the access clicker/fob database
helping to identify owner/tenant vehicles as necessary.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free
to contact the offi ce at 352-848-0020 or via email at
silvercc@silverthornhoa.com.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.
Pickleball News
Aft er a successful re-surfacing and relining of court number #1 at the recreation center,
Silverthorn residents now have and are enjoying a 4 court pickleball facility with portable nets.
Th e amount of activity in such a short time is very encouraging and it will not be very long
before there is a solid pickleball group within our community.
Ken Krumdiack off ered instruction for beginners on Wednesday evenings from 6 PM on,
which was quite well attended. He has off ered to continue more instruction aft er the holidays
and asked that you contact him by phone to indicate your interest. His phone number is
352-345-8818.
Currently the reserved court schedule is Monday and Wednesdays from 6 PM on for
beginners to play and practice. Tuesdays and Th ursdays are reserved from 6 PM on for
intermediate and advanced play. Please remember to return the portable nets and release the
tension of the nets to avoid stretching them to the sidelines along the fences.
It is hoped to see more residents come out and enjoy the new courts and join a growing
pickleball group. It won't be very long before there are plenty of games to play at any time of
the day.
