Kim-Godfrey has
performed throughout
the United
States, Canada,
South Korea, and Italy.
She has been the featured soloist with numerous
ensembles and opera companies, including Opera
Tampa, Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, St. Petersburg
Opera, Florida Lyric Opera, Sarasota Pops
Orchestra, Choral Artists of Sarasota, Artist Series
Concerts of Sarasota, Ft. Myers Symphony, South
Shore Symphony, New York Summer Music Festival,
Catskill Choral Society, and Bloomington Early
Music Festival. Most recently she made her regional
theatre debut at Asolo Repertory Theatre.

She has been a prizewinner in the National Vocal
Competition in Seoul, Long Island Symphony Concerto
Competition, and Indianapolis Matinee Musicale
Competition. She was also selected as a finalist
for the prestigious Georgina Joshi International
Fellowship in 2012, and in 2013 she was a finalist in
the Joong-Ang Competition in Korea. In 2014, she
won both the St. Petersburg Opera Idol and the Sun
City Center Opera Idol competition.
In addition to her work as a soloist, Kim-Godfrey
is an adjunct professor of voice at the University
of Tampa. She also performs regularly as part

Kim-Godfrey holds her master’s of music degree in
vocal performance from the Indiana University Jacobs
School of Music, where she studied with Mary
Ann Hart and Sylvia McNair. She also holds minors
in choral conducting and arts administration.

Allison Lubas (nee.
Novak) has been
active in the Florida
music scene since
2007. She holds a
bachelor’s of music
with honors in
voice performance
and commercial
music from Millikin
University, Decatur,
Illinois. She has appeared on stage with Opera
Tampa and the Florida Opera Festival, Choral Artists
of Sarasota, Sarasota Orchestra, m.a.d. Theatre of
Tampa, Vero Beach Opera, Bach Festival Society
of Winter Park, The Orlando Chamber Singers, The
Orlando Chorale, Orlando Philharmonic, Teatro
Bramante in Urbania, Italy, and the Walt Disney
World Resort.
She has sung under the batons of Anton Coppola,
Joseph Holt, John V. Sinclair, Gregory Ruffer,
Daniel Lipton, Louis Salemno, Elaine Rinaldi, and
Vernon Hartman. Favorite performances include Le
nozze di Figaro, La bohème, Il Pagliacci, Too Hot to
Handel, Star Wars, and The Rocky Horror Show. She
was a media persona for both the Bibbidi Bobbidi
Boutique and The Pirate’s League at The Walt
Disney World Resort and can be seen on multiple
“behind the scenes” videos on TLC, The Travel
Channel, Disney Channel and Disney DVD.
Currently singing with Choral Artists of Sarasota
and Opera Tampa, future engagements include
Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with Sarasota
Orchestra and An Afternoon of Operetta at Sarasota
Opera House. Equally as passionate about arts
education as she is performing, Lubas teaches
music and theater at Canterbury School of Florida
in St. Petersburg.
