by cerebral palsy — however,
many people don't understand
this disease. Through comedy,
Josh Blue is able to share stories
about his experience in a
lighthearted way. His style of
comedy has also been a great
teaching tool for the public to
raise awareness around this condition.

We were lucky enough to sit
down with Josh Blue to talk about
his experiences with cerebral palsy
that affect his life, his comedy,
and his career. The prevalence of
cerebral palsy has been slightly
increasing for the last 40 years,
meaning that adults with CP represent
a growing population
(Obesity Reviews, 2013). In fact,
it is the most common motor disability
in children. It was such a
great experience to talk with Josh
about experiences that have
shaped who he is as a human being.
