will evaluate each patient's individual
needs on a case-by-case basis.
Although the CEREC System represents
cutting-edge technology, it
has a proven history of over 20 years
of clinical research and use, with
millions of restorations successfully
placed.
DENTAL CONE BEAM CT SCAN
(3 DIMENSIONAL SCAN)
Another highly beneficial technological
tool is the Dental Cone Beam
Computed Tomography (CT) Scanner.
In cases when regular dental or facial
x-rays are not sufficient, this special
scanner produces extremely accurate
three-dimensional images of the jaws,
teeth, TMJ, and sinuses.
We can use this information to check
for pathology, evaluate trauma, and
to measure available bone for dental
implants. It can also be used to fabricate
implant placement guides. These
guides are used to insure greater precision
and safe placement of dental
implants.
DENTAL LASER, DIGITAL X-RAYS
AND MORE…
We use digital radiography (x-rays) in
our practice. Digital x-rays for today's
dental patients is a no-brainer: superior
image precision coupled with dramatically
reduced radiation exposure
results in greater safety for patients
and increased accuracy in diagnosis
and treatment.
Additionally, we use a diode laser
to perform gum procedures. Once
again, this great little piece of technology
allows greater precision, which
means greater comfort and faster
healing for our patients. The diode
laser can even be used to help speed
the healing of cold and canker sores.
Our commitment to technology goes
hand-in-hand with our commitment
to giving our patients every advantage
in our shared goal of optimum health.

SEPTEMBER IS WORLD ALZHEIMER'S MONTH
• Alzheimer’s disease can seriously affect a person’s ability to carry out daily activities.
• Most people living with Alzheimer’s disease are older than 65 years. However,
people younger than age 65 sometimes develop Alzheimer’s disease.
• Scientists do not know what causes Alzheimer’s disease. However, like other chronic
conditions, it is probably a result of multiple factors.
• Controlling high blood pressure, exercising regularly, and quitting smoking may reduce your risk
of Alzheimer’s disease.
