SIGNS YOU MIGHT NEED A HIP OR KNEE REPLACEMENT
PAIN DURING ACTIVITY. Hip or knee pain that
increases with activity and decreases with rest.
DELAYED PAIN. Pain that begins after activity
and lasts for a few days.
PAIN THAT INTERRUPTS SLEEP. Pain that
keeps you from falling or staying asleep.
BONE ON BONE ARTHRITIS. X-rays show bone
touching bone in hip or knee.
STIFFNESS. Difficulty putting on shoes, sitting
for long periods of time, or getting in and out
of chairs.
VISUAL CHANGES. If your knee or hip starts
