@ The Corner has proven to be one of Little
Rock’s favorite dining spots. This modern diner
has an old-school 50s style with a modern twist
that was started by 3 sisters and a mother in
the heart of downtown. When their journey
began in 2014, the ladies dreamed of opening
more than just a restaurant, they wanted to
revolutionize traditional recipes, transform
Home” vibe, and to ultimately modernize the
diner in exciting and unconventional ways. With
little restaurant experience and knowledge of
starting a business, @ The Corner has become
a staple in the Little Rock food scene; setting
food trends, creating unique customer service
experiences, and ultimately inspiring other
females to chase their dreams and start their
own business.
While @ The Corner is known for its weekend
brunch themes derived from local farmers,
events or random inspiration — including your
favorite childhood cereal, Game of Thrones
and superheroes — becoming one of Little
Rock’s top brunch spots was something the
owners never expected. Be prepared for a long
line out the door, but know that it is totally
worth the wait!
Of course this Modern Diner also has your
traditional hamburger, although there is nothing
standard about it. The handcrafted, made to
order burgers are a huge hit with the locals.
The top requested lunch item, The Corner
Classic Burger, includes locally sourced veggies
(when in season), and optional toppings such as
avocado, bacon, fried egg, and/or cheese. Don’t
worry, you can think of some other additions
you would like, too! Chef, Kamiya Merrick loves
@ The Corner
experimenting with new recipes and making sure
the customers have a one-of-a-kind experience
burgers and sandwiches like a Blackberry & Fig
Jam Burger or the Summer Grilled Cheese.
You have probably heard that At the Corner
is the Queen of Little Rock Breakfast. Over the
last few years, breakfast and brunch have truly
put the restaurant on the map. But now, At the
Corner fans don’t have to beat the clock for
their favorite meal, because breakfast is on the
menu all day, every day. The Cowboy Breakfast,
arguably one of the most popular dishes, was a
shoe-in for the all-day menu. At the Corner also
makes one of the best biscuits and gravy plates
matter), and the kitchen tops them off with a
soft fried egg and fried chicken tenders. This
is a dish that showcases
some of the creativity
the restaurant plays with
grounded in comfort food
familiarity. You can also
Canadian Bacon Grit
Bowl, and even a breakfast
style Poutine.
When asked what sets
them apart from the other
options in town, Chef
We make everyone feel
like family. We really care about our customers
and want everyone to feel at home.” They also
source numerous ingredients locally from farms
including Barnhill Orchard, Ralston Family
Farms, Heifer Urban Farm, Southern Natural
Farms, and more.
With @ The Corner’s success, the four female
owners have made a name for themselves in an
industry typically dominated by men. You can
expect to see the menu change frequently to add
new surprises to the selection and to guarantee
the ingredients are fresh and in season. Head
downtown to 201 E. Markham and give them
a try. Expect to have excellent food and 5 Star
customer service!
