cooking and tasting!
→ Oct. 19-20: Paws in the
Park — Enter your favorite pooch
in the costume contest, join the pet
parade, get a photo of your pet and
watch the dock diving dogs!
→ Oct. 19-20: Punkin Chunkin
Festival — How far can a pumpkin
fly? Find out when they’re hurled
through the air by a variety of homemade
catapults! You’ll also find music,
crafts and fun games.

Brew, Stew & Que Festival
— Bring on dozens of craft beer vendors,
plus plenty of barbecue and
stew to take you through the day.

Fall fEstival — This state park
gem lies in the mountains south of
Blairsville. Come for the festival, stay
for the changing leaves, lake fishing,
hiking paths and waterfall.
→ Nov. 30: Light Up Blue
Ridge — Ring in the holiday season
with a parade, lighting of the Great
Tree and, of course, visits with Santa!
→ Dec. 7: Holiday on the
Square — Get in the holiday spirit
with a parade, carolers, music and a
visit with Santa … all on the Square in
Downtown Blairsville.
→ Dec 14: Vogel State PArk
Tree Lighting — Enjoy an evening
of fellowship and celebration of
the true meaning of Christmas. Hayrides,
music and activities lead up to
the Christmas program and lighting
of the tree.
→ Feb. 15: Fire & Ice Chili
Cook-Off — Hot & spicy chili
meets frozen ice sculptures at this
fun and unique downtown event.
