ASSEMBLE
Sunny days can be dreary for kids
who find themselves being cared
for in a hospital for a long period of
time. While they work hard every
day to regain their health, they
know that their friends and other
children are outdoors enjoying
themselves. In May, the care teams
at UF Health Shands Children’s
Hospital put out a call for help to
cheer up pediatric patients.
Spiderman, Captain America, Iron
Man and Batman came from all
directions — from the sky in Health ShandsCair helicopter
and on the ground in the
Batmobile. Other friends —
including Black Panther, Loki
and The Flash — joined their
fellow heroes in hurrying to
the hospital to brighten the
patients’ day.
