prevention and treatment of
the disease, there is a terrible
cost to a person’s quality of
life. Cancer treatment often
causes a decline in a person’s
physical health at a point where they are in the worst shape
of their life. Th is decline creates lifelong problems that
often go unrecognized or untreated, leaving people with
chronic pain and a poor sense of what they hoped would
be a return to normal. It’s also estimated that over 11 million
people suff er from lymphedema, or limb swelling,
which is a lifelong side eff ect from cancer but can be a
result of prolonged illnesses or vascular problems. Th at’s
why there’s H.O.P.E.!
H.O.P.E. believes in its mission of providing rehabilitation
and wellness programs to help those touched by Cancer &
