Gather your family and go on a Beach Ecology Tour. Trips are offered year-round by marine
biologist Dr. Joe Richardson. Trips are scheduled and arranged for any size group - ranging
from families to adult tour groups that want to have fun. See and learn about the variety of
marine life along the Georgia coast. Take a trip to the Oatland Island Wildlife Center. Visit
the Oatland Island Wildlife Center and walk through 160 acres of pristine maritime forest &
encounter some 100 animals from 40+ species. Rent a bike from Tim’s Bike and Beach Gear
or Fat Tire Bikes and enjoy the whole Island. You can ride anywhere and go anywhere on
the island by bike since Tybee is a bike-friendly community.
