Daniela Soledade Saturday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m.
A devotee of the bossa nova sound, Daniela Soledade echoes the quiet,
intimate style of João Gilberto. A legacy-related back story lends added
depth to Soledade's unfolding musical saga - she belongs to a sparkling
lineage of great Brazilian artists, ranging from her grandfather Paulo, a
collaborator with Antonio Carlos Jobim, Vinicius De Moraes, Baden Powell
and other Brazilian legends. She interprets bossa nova classics and puts
a Brazilian touch on jazz standards with her pristine vocals and mastery
of this musical form.

The Lee Boys play “sacred steel,” music rooted in Gospel infused with
rhythm and blues, jazz, rock, funk, hip-hop, country and African music
driven by the pedal steel guitar .In the last decade, the Lee Boys have
performed for more than 750,000 music fans at festivals throughout the
United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. Their unique sound has
attracted musical artists such as Allman Bros. Band, B.B. King, Buddy Guy,
Robert Plant, Mavis Staples, Blind Boys of Alabama, Black Crowes,
John Legend and The Roots - all of whom have performed with the
Lee Boys and/or invited them to tour with them.
