and public safety careers come together to attend Sheriff’s Youth
students training in all aspects of criminal justice. They train at the Situational
Training and Response Simulator (STARS) facility on Dutch Lane
in Freehold. The state-of-the-art facility includes the driving simulator
where students practice patrolling neighborhoods. Another important
training tool is the interactive VirTra Simulator, a decision-making and
