aren’t big name performers booked at SFSC?” This column
will address your questions and we encourage you to continue
responding to our online surveys.
We learn, improve and adapt based upon your responses.
The questions below are actual inquiries from our audience’s
survey responses.
Why can’t we purchase tickets earlier than October?
They process season subscriptions which takes several weeks.
During July and August, there is one staff member programming
weeks of October are reserved for subscriber and SFSC employee
pre-sales. After processing these ticket orders, single ticket sales
are usually available by mid-October.

Why don’t you have more matinees?
Why don’t you have more weekend night shows?
Currently we offer 10 matinees during January, February and
March when winter visitors arrive. We’d love to have more weekend
shows, but we are competing with other venues in the state which
usually pay higher artist fees for weekend dates.
