Suggestion #1
Day 1:
• Head to Lake Kissimmee
State Park for a hike through an
oak hammock; enjoy a picnic lunch

history demonstration on weekends
(Oct.-Apr.) and all major holidays
year round. (863-696-1112)
• Walk the Caloosa Nature Trail
and the Ridge Audubon’s Babson

the world. (863-638-1355)
• End the day with dinner in
Historic Lake Wales.
Day 2:
• Rent a boat from Marine Supply
of Winter Haven and tour the
16 canal-connected Winter Haven

bass capital of the world or enjoy a
leisurely cruise. (863-293-1156)
• Travel west of Winter Haven to
Circle B-Bar Reserve, where trails
offer great views of ospreys,
herons and eagles. The reserve’s
Lake Hancock is home to a large
number of alligators.
