Bradley Beach
Boardwalk

If you’re looking for some time off the beach, the town’s 80-plus-yearold
movie theater shows current releases and old-time favorites, and
its recently renovated bowling alley offers cosmic bowling and karaoke
for year-round family fun. Moving through shady streets of homes
with wraparound porches toward Main Street, you’ll find more than 20
restaurants open year-round, an acclaimed Italian-style bakery and a
homemade ice cream stand.
The Gazebo on the Boardwalk is host to a wide array of fun activities
during the summer, starting with the Memorial Day weekend festival and
parade—Kickoff to Summer at the Jersey Shore—and a wide variety of
musical performances and entertainment. The Jack Wright Ocean Mile
Swim, kids’ fishing days and races and a 5K race, as well as Memorial
Day celebrations and Independence Day fireworks are just some of the
events that keep Bradley Beach lively. Accommodations in town include
bed and breakfast inns.
Bradley Beach is served by NJ TRANSIT’s North Jersey Coast Line rail
service and is north of Interstate 195, just off the Garden State Parkway.
