Philanthropy, fashion and polo came together at the fourth annual Charity Polo Classic in Plant City. The day of matches, music,
restaurant tastes, divot stomping and hats benefited the Children’s Cancer Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay and The
Helping Hand.
It’s no wonder that Polo is known as “the Sport of Kings.”
The mounted riders of the opposing Red and Blue
teams use mallets to knock the ball into the other
side’s goal.
Patty O’Leary, head of the Children’s Cancer Center,
an event beneficiary, visited with former Tampa
Mayor Dick Greco.
