Alyse Pask has created a
multi-sensory, storytelling dinner
event series called “The Rooted
Door” for PASK Productions. The
inaugural alfresco dinner, which
was held at the Sweetwater
Organic Community Farm in
Tampa, benefited Sweetwater’s
education initiatives, as well as
Leto High School Culinary Arts
Team scholarships. The featured
chefs, Ferrell Alvarez of the
Rooster and the Till restaurant in
Tampa and Don Pintabona of
Locale Market in St. Petersburg,
spoke about their life experiences
that led them to their careers and
the cocktail-paired dishes they
prepared that evening. For

Rooted Door events, go to

he is followed by soldiers, takes refuge in Inca ruins, and
hides from her ex-husband and hostile natives and witches,
who chase him through the jungle. Lily of Peru is available
