Dr. Wang grew up in communist
China. He came to
this country with only $50 in
his pocket and the American
dream in his heart. He has
since become a Harvard and
MIT graduate (MD, magna
cum laude) and one of the few
cataract and LASIK eye surgeons
in the world who holds a
doctorate degree in laser physics.
Today, he is a world-class
eye surgeon and is the only
surgeon in Tennessee who performs

Forever Young Lens and 3D
Laser Cataract Surgery. Additionally,
he currently serves as
president of the Tennessee Chinese
Chamber of Commerce
and is co-founder of the Tennessee

Business Group.
Dr. Wang’s life, from humble
beginnings in China to his
current highly respected status
in the American medical field,
is an interesting story in itself.
In fact, his incredible real life
story inspired a character in
the bestseller book, “God’s Not
Wang indicated that the new hospital chain in America is the result
of a 15-year effort involving him and the hospital chain officials in
China. Aier operates 154 hospitals in China, performing 500,000 eye
surgeries a year.
