Empowerment, courage, and business were among the few discussions held
during the virtual Central region LATINA Style Business Series themed
Latinas Pivot and Adapt: Conquering New Opportunities in 2021 & Beyond,
held on August 12th. The award-winning conference for Latina entrepreneurs
allowed participants to learn about business ownership and partake in career
development seminars designed to benefit Latina professionals and entrepreneurs.
Moderated by Robert E. Bard, President & CEO, LATINA Style, Inc., National
Co-Chairs Ramiro Cavazos, President & CEO, USHCC, and Alice Rodriguez, Head of
Community Impact, Managing Director, JPMorgan Chase & Co. provided welcoming
remarks. In addition, Isabella Casillas Guzman, 27th Administrator of the U.S. Small
Business Administration, provided insights on the status of Latina business owners in
the country.
Regional Co-Chair welcome remarks roundtable, facilitated by Lupita
