Zulu Wire Baskets: Bring Together the Old and the New
Made in South Africa by the Zulu tribe, these colorful baskets are a
hybrid of hundreds of years of weaving traditions and modern-day telephone
wire materials. Sponsored by the Bridge for Africa Foundation, these baskets
help the Zulu to retain their traditions while re-purposing a material that is
virtually non-biodegradable.
Baskets vary in size, prices range from $29.90 to $169
