RAIN BARREL WORKSHOP (16+ yrs)
Rain barrels are a great way to reduce storm water runoff and to
save water for a dry spell. In this workshop led by Lee County Master
Gardeners, you will learn how to make and install a rain barrel to
use at home. The class fee includes a pre-assembled rain barrel and
is held on the same day as the annual native plant sale. Advance
registration and payment is required as limited barrels are available.

FREE GARDENING SERIES (16+ yrs)
Come to any or all of these FREE programs sponsored by the Lee
County Master Gardeners. There will be time for questions and answers

Learn all about butterflies found in this area and what plants and
flowers are best to attract them. Please bring pictures or drawings
of your yard so the design expert can help you create a
butterfly friendly landscape of your own. Tour the butterfly house
and gardens as part of this class, too.

EASY VEGETABLE GARDENING (8+ yrs)
Learn easy food to grow instead of struggling with veggies that
are very labor intensive for SW Florida. Class includes when to
plant, what to plant, basic sprays, fertilizers and more. Plants
will be available for sale after class.

Bring your children to Rotary Park to learn about the nature and
natural history of Florida. Programs are geared for a broad age
group and include hands on activities or projects. Participants
should wear shoes and clothes appropriate for hiking and
outdoor exploration. Advanced registration is required.
