the clip. To close; lightly
apply finger pressure on the
occlusal surface of the clip.
Make sure the spring clip
fully closes so the archwire is
securely engaged.
Simple Opening
Sensation and Sensation M Clips open and close in the same
manner, however, each requires a unique instrument. While
both instruments may look similar, each must be used with the
appropriate bracket system. Using the incorrect instrument may
result in damaging the clip.

To open the Sensation or Sensation M Bracket Clip:
1. Place the inside hook of the opening instrument into the opening of the
door of the bracket interface.
2. Tilt the opening instrument gingivally to avoid possible removal of the clip.
3. Pull straight down to open using a gentle controlled force.
