BLAKE ZELESNIKAR (Slave Master) is
thrilled to be with such an amazing production!
He has been dancing since the age of six and
The Phantom of the Opera is definitely a
favorite. Recent credits include: An American
in Paris (National Tour), Radio City Summer
Spectacular, Mariah Carey, and The Bad Boys
of Dance.
ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER (Composer/
Book/Co-Orchestrator) is the composer of some
of the world’s best known musicals including
Cats, Evita, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, The
Phantom of the Opera and Sunset Boulevard.
His latest musical, the hit stage version of the
movie School of Rock, is now playing at The
Winter Garden Theatre. His awards, both as
composer and producer, include seven Tonys,
seven Oliviers, a Golden Globe, an Oscar, the
Praemium Imperiale, the Richard Rodgers
Award for Excellence in Musical Theatre, a
BASCA Fellowship, the Kennedy Center Honor
and a Grammy for Best Contemporary Classical
Composition for Requiem, his setting of the
Latin Requiem mass, which contains one of his
best known compositions, “Pie Jesu.” He owns
seven London theatres including the Theatre
Royal, Drury Lane and the London Palladium.
He was knighted by Her Majesty The Queen in
1992 and created an honorary member of the
House of Lords in 1997. He is passionate about
the importance of music in education and the
Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation has become
one of Britain’s leading charities supporting the
arts and music.
CAMERON MACKINTOSH (Producer) has
produced the three longest-running musicals
in history: Les Misérables, The Phantom of
the Opera and Cats. His spectacular new
production of Miss Saigon is now on Broadway
whilst his co-production with Disney of
Mary Poppins continues to sprinkle its magic
worldwide. His newly rewritten version of Half
a Sixpence is his latest London hit, winning
great critical acclaim. He’s currently working
on lm versions of Oliver! and Miss Saigon,
following the hugely successful lm of Les
Misérables. He owns eight London theatres,
including the Victoria Palace, which after a
major refurbishment, will re-open in November
2017 with the award-winning musical,
Hamilton, co-produced with Jeffrey Seller.
