The story
Act I
®
Long ago, in a lovely village, Cinderella’s nasty stepsisters Prudence and Petunia brag about
their invitation to the Prince’s Ball, where he hopes to nd his bride. Cinderella enters, to the
delight of her friends, but her sisters soon spoil the fun.
At home, Cinderella has been secretly making her own gown for the ball, but when the
sisters discover it, they rip it to shreds. Suddenly, an old beggar woman appears at the door.
Cinderella is the only one who treats her kindly, offering her some tea.
After much fanfare, the stepsisters depart for the ball. The old beggar woman appears again,
and magically transforms into Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother. With the help of the seasonal
fairies, she prepares Cinderella for the ball. As she leaves in the sparkling carriage, the Clock
Fairies warn Cinderella that the magic will disappear at midnight.
Act II
The King, Queen and Jester are entertaining the royal court. The stepsisters try to attract
the attention of the handsome Prince, but to no avail. Cinderella arrives, looking stunningly
beautiful and the Prince instantly falls in love with her. At midnight, Cinderella leaves in
haste and as the magic begins to disappear, she accidently leaves one of her glass slippers
behind.
The Prince searches the kingdom, looking for his bride who ts the shoe. Upon arriving
at Cinderella’s house, he nds the slipper ts and they dance joyously together. The entire
kingdom celebrates the true love of the Prince and his bride, Cinderella.
And they all lived happily ever after!
