Chester Weber cleaned up after Sunday’s Final Phase
Cones Course for Combined Driving. With his win over
the weekend, he has captured his 15th championship.
To wrap up Sunday’s event was the $100,000 Longines
FEI World Cup Jumping Qualifier Grand Prix presented
by Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club. With a difficult
course laid out in front of 18 competitors only 3
completed with no faults to move onto the jump off.
After a display of sheer heroism, agility and determination
USA rider Kristen Vanderveen riding Bull’s Run
Faustino de Tili, deserved the first place finish. Coming
up behind in second place with a more tactical approach
was USA rider Brianne Goutal-Marteau riding
Viva Colombia, and in third with a careful yet spectacular
ride on Galan S was Swiss rider Beat Mandli.
