Riding the boat to and from Magic Kingdom
was the best and fastest way of transportation
for us. It was convenient, stroller friendly and
an adventure for our active toddler.
We learned that investing on the MagicBand ---
which allows you to unlock the door of your Disney
Resort Hotel room, enter theme parks, check
in at FastPass+ entrances, connect Disney
PhotoPass images to your account and also
charge food purchased in your room --- is the
way to go while at Disney.
Once your MagicBand is activated, schedule
the Happily Ever After Fireworks viewing in the
evening at Magic Kingdom. Lights, music,
fireworks---you can’t miss the show.
If you have some time to squeeze other
parks, we highly recommend visiting Disney’s
Animal Kingdom theme park. Check out both
Avatar Flight of Passage and Na’vi River Journey.
If you get an appetite, head to Satu’li Canteen. You
will enjoy the flavors the dishes have to offer.
Another park we recommend is Epcot. During
our visit Epcot was showcasing the International
Festival of the Arts and the Disney on
Broadway Concert Series with performers Kara
Lindsay and Kevin Massey.
Make sure to schedule on your day IllumiNations:
Reflections of Earth viewing at Italy Isola
West. A must-see as well.
If you are not yet a Disney Vacation Club
member, we recommend you to take advantage of
the affordable way to take Disney Vacations.
As a full-time working mother of a now toddler, it
is important to relax and recharge. And finding
the time to do so is not as easy as it sounds,
but by becoming a member the flexibility and
expenses will work to anyone’s advantage. So give
it a try and see what best fits your lifestyle and
needs. For some, the happiest place on earth is
only a few miles away, for others like myself
and my family it is a flight away from home
but worth it. LS
