The Latino Coalition (TLC)
The Latino Coalition (TLC), the nation's leading
non-partisan advocacy organization representing
Hispanic businesses and consumers, hosted President
Donald J. Trump, Labor Secretary Alex Acosta and
Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao during its Legislative
Summit at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C.
on March 7. During the first address to a Hispanic
business group, President Trump pointed out how
Latino-owned enterprises make up more than 10 percent
of all businesses in the United States and provide jobs
for more than two million American workers.
HITEC (Hispanic IT Executive Council), a global
executive leadership organization of senior
business and IT executives who have built careers in
information technology held its Spring Leadership
Summit & HITEC 50 Awards in Dallas, TX on March
14th-16th. Hosted by AT&T, the program provided a
forum for the career development and advancement of
technology executives, exposure to accomplished
leaders and the broader technology community and
created opportunities to connect member organizations
across different business segments and share
technology trends.
