Being physically active is a great way
only true if you work up a sweat.
means the more you sweat, the more
that are harmful to your health.
Working out in a hot environment or

AVOID THESE DRUGS
Prilosec, Nexium, Prevacid. These are just a few of the popular brands of drugs known as proton pump
inhibitors (PPIs). PPIs block stomach acid and are most commonly used for gastroesophageal reflux
disease (GERD) and ulcers, but are also commonly used for frequent and occasional heartburn.
It’s estimated that about 15 million Americans use these drugs, but most are not aware of the longterm,
serious side effects.
Before you pop a PPI, consider that in addition to a wide variety of well-established side effects that
include increased risk of infection and bone loss, a new study adds dementia to the list.
The study, which was published in April 2016 in the journal JAMA Neurology, reported that people who
used PPIs on a regular basis had a 44 percent increased risk of developing dementia compared to people
who did not use the drugs. The researchers conclude, “…avoidance of PPI medication may contribute to
the prevention of dementia.”
So here’s the tip: Try digestive enzymes with meals if you have occasional heartburn.
Digestive enzymes don’t block stomach acid like PPIs do. Instead, they actually support overall digestive
health rather than simply masking the symptoms.
Digestive enzymes will help you maintain and even improve the health of your digestive system, while
alleviating digestive discomfort in the process. They provide natural relief for digestive discomfort.
