concert series returns to “The Pad,” adjacent to Aloft

The Summer Nature Series at Three Lakes Nature
Center occurs monthly June through August.

Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden will host its annual
CarMax Free Fourth of July celebration from 9 a.m.
to 5 p.m. All visitors will receive free admission

The annual Innsbrook Taste of Virginia will be held
in the summer at the Innsbrook Pavilion, 4901
Lakebrook Drive, from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Taste
of Virginia is a family-friendly food festival showcasing
dishes from local restaurants, each competing
for the honorary “Taste of Virginia” title, as well
as awards for other significant categories.
Restaurant competitors will be provide a $3 sample
plate of their signature dishes, as well as additional
menu items for purchase during the festival.
Tickets are $8 for adults in advance or $10 at the

AUGUST
The Midtown State Fair returns to Libbie Mill every
August. A preview of November's Fire Flour & Fork,
the fair is designed to capture the same intimate,

tomato tastings, square dancing that rocks,

The 36th annual Virginia Outdoor Sportsman Show
will be held at the Richmond Raceway Complex.
