Supervision and Management–Aviation
Administration
The supervision and management program with a
concentration in aviation administration uses a 2+2
model that requires applicants to have completed
an associate’s degree or equivalent for entry into the
program. Individuals in this field can have careers
such as airline managers, airport managers, airport
security manager and air traffic controllers.
Aviation Maintenance Administration
Ensuring the safety and efficiency of air travel
requires skilled aircraft mechanics, avionics
equipment mechanics, aircraft technicians, or
avionics equipment technicians. The Associate in
Science in Aviation Maintenance Administration
program paves the way for FAA Airframe and
Powerplant (A&P) certified mechanics to advance
in their career.
Professional Pilot Technology
The professional pilot technology program can
offer career options such as the transportation of
cargo and/or people, aerial photography and rescue
operations. As students complete the program, they
are required to show competency and complete stage
checks towards earning their Instrument, Commercial,
and Multi-Engine Flight ratings.
Unmanned Vehicles Systems Operation
This program provides hands-on training for
unmanned vehicles systems operation including air,
land and maritime drone operations. The unmanned
aircraft systems (UAS) is a growing and dynamic
field in aviation. The Unmanned Vehicles Systems
program prepares students to be a remote pilot
supporting industries such as agriculture, delivery
services, telecommunications, first response, defense
contracting and commercial operations. As part of
the program, students will complete course work to
prepare for the part 107 exam.
