day. People who suffer from severe
lower back pain, in particular,
should focus on core muscle
strengthening, as doing so is integral
to obtaining long term relief
of lower back pain.
Also, the strengthening exercises
that are prescribed should be
taught by a physical therapist as
they have the training and knowhow
to teach their patients how to
perform them properly. In other
words, simply watching a neophyte
perform them on an online
video may not suffice, and may
actually be detrimental to the patient’s
mental and physical health
if the person performing them is
incompetent. As such, it is best to
learn how to perform strengthening
exercises from a physiotherapist
or other licensed and qualified
medical expert.
Aerobic
Conditioning
Those who suffer from long term
back pain can obtain relief by performing
low impact aerobics on a
routine basis. Furthermore, there
are several different low impact
aerobic exercises that the patient
can choose from; including, but
not limited to, water therapy,
walking, swimming, and bicycling.
Ideally, aerobic exercises
should be done 3 times per week
for roughly half an hour.
In sum, even patients who have
very busy or hectic schedules
should be able to take the time to
follow a moderate back strengthening
and pain relief system that
amalgamates aerobic conditioning,
back strengthening and
stretching exercises. By doing so,
most patients will experience long
term relief of back pain and other
back-related ailments or conditions.
