St. Pete Artists Find a Home in Waterfront Condo

When this busy executive
from the Northeast decided
to purchase a local condo
overlooking the sparkling
waters of the Gulf of Mexico
as a second home, he
contacted award-winning
Decker Ross Interiors to
design the project for him.
He met with owner Suzan
Decker Ross and Senior
Designer Marci Tempesta to
collaborate on the interior of
his beachfront condo.
With a penchant for
supporting local artists, his
main stipulation was to keep
the design open and neutral,
so the pops of colorful art
would become the main
focal point in each room.
Decker Ross and Tempesta
quickly determined his
taste preference to be very
contemporary with sleek,
clean lines and somewhat
minimalistic furnishings.
They reached out to Alison
West Brown Gallery to
assist him in connecting
with various local artists to
for his personal gallery
walls. “He prefers large
statement pieces that are
noted.
When creating the overall
design aesthetic for the
condo, Decker Ross and
Tempesta took into
consideration not only their
client’s taste, but his lifestyle
as well. They designed a
custom wine bar to meet his
entertainment needs, and a
a desk area, bookcases,
along with a Murphy bed for
craftsman built the pieces to
