Residential and commercial property owners in compliance can apply by July 1, 2020 for up to 90% reduction

NAR reactivates massive discount program on products and services
The COVID-19 health crisis has forced dramatic
change upon REALTORS® businesses more quickly

Association of REALTORS® has reactivated its Right
Tools, Right Now program to provide the support
REALTORS® need.
Right Tools, Right Now was first activated in 2009 in the midst of the financial crisis.

resources, and services from all areas of NAR, including:
• Webinars to help you manage your finances;
• Education courses to expand your skills;
• Timely market reports to inform your business and clients; and
• Digital tools for transactions and marketing.

e-PRO® certification course or to learn more about helping your clients (or yourself)
build wealth through a free real estate investing course. These are just a couple of

Seminole County property owners who
have brought their code enforcement
liens into compliance may be eligible for a
discount of up to 90% on related fines.
The county’s Code Enforcement Lien
Amnesty Program is eff ective through July
1, 2020 and applies to both homes and
business. Those who bring their property
into compliance with County Codes may
have existing liens reduced up to 90% or no
more than a maximum payment of $1,000.00
plus an administrative fee of $250.
ELIGIBILITY
Commercial and residential properties
are eligible to participate in the program.
Property owners with code enforcement
liens on multiple properties must apply for a
reduction on each property simultaneously
under the program. Special assessment
liens or payments due for code enforcement
abatement actions, such as pool abatement
or demolition are not eligible for the
amnesty program, however, these must
be paid in full for any property requesting
a code enforcement lien reduction.* Utility
liens are not eligible for the amnesty
program.
CONDITIONS
All properties within unincorporated
Seminole County seeking a lien reduction
must be in compliance with County Codes
and have no outstanding code violations on
any properties within the county at the time
of the application.
The reduced lien shall be paid in full
within 30 days from the date of approval by
personal check, cashier’s check, or money
order only and made payable to Seminole
County BOCC.
If the reduced amount is not paid within
30 days from the date of approval, the lien
amount will revert back to the original lien
amount and the application fee will be
forfeited.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
A $100.00 non-refundable application
fee is due at the time of application. If it is
determined that the application is eligible
for lien amnesty then the application fee will
be credited to the lien payment amount.
Applications for the Code Enforcement
Lien Amnesty program will be accepted
between January 1, 2020 and July 1, 2020
by the Development Services Department.
Applications are available online or at the
County Services Building.
