You may know Ruben Galindo a.k.a Mr.
Property Shoppe as a successful real
estate agent in the Lakeland area. What
you may not know is that most of Ruben’s listings
have gone under contract within thirty
days - some within days or hours! We decided to
sit down with him to find out more about what
makes him so successful.
Q:Why did you decide to pursue a career
in real estate?
I have always been intrigued by real-estate and
the idea of it becoming the career path I would
take. So when I graduated from USF with my
Marketing Degree I decided it was time to take
that leap and pursue real estate full time. My wife
Yenafes and I were expanding our family and it
was the right time to seek a career where I can be
independent, have control over my schedule and
be more available for our two little ones . Yenafes
is now my business partner and assists our clients
through the sales process up to closing on the
home sell or purchase. She also handles some of
our marketing efforts through videos and other
marketing initiatives.
Q: Your listings don’t stay on the market
long! What do you credit this success
to?
I believe if you love what you’re doing, you
will be successful at it. My family, friends and
brokerage firm have been extremely supportive
of my career and have continuously help me
grow. Real estate is a very rewarding career
and whether you are assisting buyers or listing
properties, the outcome of finalizing each

transaction is always a fulfilling one not only for
me but also for my clients. My marketing and
sales background has played a major role in our
success as I use these skill sets to define the right
opportunities for each home. When we list our
homes we use all available tools and resources
to market the home to the right audience; such
as the internet, social media, magazines and
Multiple Listing Services among other outlets.
We stay up to date with technology and popular
social media platforms to leverage our business
and provide maximum exposure to our listings.
Q: How else have your previous careers
helped give you an edge as a real estate
agent?
I have over twenty years of sales experience and
client relations combined. My sales background
include retail, outside sales and business to busi-
