Editor’s Note
One of my fondest memories as a child was of the
summers before I ever had a job and always having
a book on my window sill next to my bed. I would
sleep in, wake up, and the first thing was open the
book and read chapter after chapter getting lost in
the story building my imagination and building
new knowledge. However you enjoy this time of the
year, be sure to take time and soak up the sun but
also to soak up new knowledge, as Marcel Proust,
a French novelist once said, “We don’t receive wisdom we must discover it for
ourselves.” Without reading, without seeking new knowledge ourselves, we will
not obtain any new wisdom and that is what I truly hope you gain from this issue
(and all issues), because we have an amazing feature to share with life changing
knowledge for your health as well as a business topic that I hope will gain you
new insight and ideas to help you grow directly or to obtain the information for
someone you may know. Enjoy this season, whether you’re catching a baseball
game, planning summer trips, or graduations, find great joy this time of the year
being grateful for all that is around us and all that is beautiful.
