Proudly, he came back to the United States
fortified and his first non-profit work was
developed – Voice of Harmony Ministries – a
ministry designed to help boys in Frayser. “I
tutored them and had a plan to get them off of
the streets. Frayser was rough during that time,
but I needed to be in the trenches in order to truly
make a difference. I took these kids and focused
on creating ministry, economic and educational
opportunities to help these impoverished young
men.

Our program developed a city-wide golf
program and an entrepreneurship program.
The entrepreneurship program was exciting
because I was able to transform the lives of
17 young men during the summer by placing
them all in businesses. These businesses
included Huey’s restaurant and clothing
stores around the city.”
