Agmen Christi has continued its
commitment to serving the impoverished
community of Belle Glade along
Lake Okeechobee, as well as serving
those in need locally during the holidays.
On a Sunday in December, members of
Agmen Christi and school president Fr.
Richard C. Hermes, S.J. again delivered
presents to the dozens of children living
in the Palms of Dover migrant community
in East Hillsborough County. The
children met Santa Claus and received
hand-wrapped by the club members.
Also in December, a few dozen
members of Agmen Christi volunteered
on a Saturday at Metropolitan Ministries
in Tampa, helping organize and maintain
their annual Holiday Tent.
The basketball team continued its
annual Christmas tradition of service
by also contributing gifts and Christmas
cheer to migrant children. The team
