Latinas in Aviation Soaring to Great
Heights
When people think about the aviation industry, they tend to
visualize flight attendants and aircraft pilots. But the industry is
more diverse and dynamic than it appears. Meet four Latinas who
are bringing innovation to the aviation industry. Jackie Rios at

finding a perfectly matched donor, which means there is a great
need for more ethnically diverse donors to join the registry to
improve the chances of a patient battling a life-threatening
