The National Hispanic Medical Association (NHMA)
The National Hispanic Medical Association held its annual conference on April 11-14,
at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Virginia. The conference included national experts on
current patient-centered care, medical education training, oral health research, prevention,
behavioral health, e-health and cultural competence for the growing Hispanic populations. This year
NHMA/HDA highlighted immigration health, women's health, opioid crisis, and Medicaid.

The Women Presidents’ Organization, an affiliation for successful women entrepreneurs worldwide,
connecting women who lead multimillion-dollar companies held its 22nd Annual Conference on May
1st – May 3rd at The Westin Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina. The conference encourages WPO
members to share business strategies and experience with other successful women from all over the world,
as well as learn from interactive seminars and speakers.
