Living on This Island
If living on this island
was all I ever knew,
Do you suppose I’d feel the pain
that other people do?
If this island had no bridges
and no way of getting news,
no internet and no TV,
just warmth and lovely views.
If living on this island
was my life and all I knew,
I’d trust in God to hear my prayers
and let you live here too.
