Jesuit's chapter of NHS, led by

recognizes students who have put
forth great effort in the areas of
scholarship, service, leadership,
and character. To be eligible for
induction, students must maintain a
minimum GPA of 3.7 and complete
leadership and character qualities
are determined by faculty feedback
measuring students' growth during
their time at Jesuit, with emphasis on
leadership in the classroom as well
Later in February, Jesuit announced
Honor Roll – no grade less than an
‘A’ in all of their classes –each of
Diego Maldonado-Puebla,
Max Gonzalez, Sam Carollo, Daniel
Jung, Frankie Machado, Luke Lehman,
Joseph Koebbe, Brett Litschgi, Chandler
Carnes, Jonas Jonsson, Alex Martinez,
Jason Kwo, and Viet Ho.
In early March, the grade-level
winners of the Saint Ignatius Gold
Medal Essay Contest (SIGMEC), read
Hayden Baudoin '24 and Adam Stafford
'23, the freshman and sophomore
winners, read their respective essays,
and the next day, Danny O'Leary '22
and , the junior and
senior class winners, did the same.
Also, six Jesuit students were
Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
In a virtual ceremony March 4, the
Hillsborough Education Foundation
Avery Hames
’22 was awarded a Gold Key for his
satire entitled “Cancel This,” and Archie
Teller ’22 received a Silver Key for
his illustration “Frederick Douglass.”
Ethan Tiejema ’22, Carter Kreis ’22,
and Holden Fernandez ’23 each earned
Honorable Mention for their poems,
