I truly believe that because my
husband Mark and I have created
a foundation for our business based
on honesty, humbleness and stellar
customer service, we have become
the fastest growing medical spa in
Central Florida. We have grown from
our initial staff of the two of us to
now 22 employees. Since January, we
have doubled our business, hired 6
nurse practitioners to assist with the
influx of new clients and employed a
very talented plastic surgeon as our
Medical Director.
I have been asked by people wanting
to follow my path to entrepreneurship,
how to emulate what I have done. It is
a hard question to answer, but I think
that our success can be attributed to
these core values:
while growing our business. I would
work three days in the ICU and the
other four at the spa. My husband
Mark and I did anything we could to
generate business: First Fridays, home
spa parties, radio ads, giveaways,
etc. We worked as the receptionist,
janitor, provider; we did it all. We
started as a true Mom and Pop
business. Thankfully, we began to
have consistent business from regular
clients and in December 2018 I quit
my job with retirement, benefits
and insurance and threw myself into
growing our business. I never looked
back in regret because every ounce of
work I put into my business came back
to us in satisfied customers who would
send their friends and family our way.
One of our fundamental ideals is to
give back to our community. We have
done so in public and private. In 2019,
we were awarded Philanthropic Small
Business of the Year by the GiveWell
Foundation. We truly believe that
out of our blessings, we should pay it
forward. Along my journey of struggle
when my son was very young, there
were ‘Angels’ who gave to me in my
time of need and now, I am in the
position to give.
