Beyond serving as head of Diverse Segments, as enterprise president of
Hispanic & Latino Connection mentoring younger Latino employees at Wells Fargo,
Juarez is passionately dedicated to volunteering in her free time.
She served as chairwoman and now as board development chair of the Orange
County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, which represents the interests of 30,000
Latino-owned businesses. She is board chair of Court Appointed Special Advocates
(CASA) of Orange County which trains community volunteers to serve as mentors
and advocates for abused, abandoned and neglected children.
Juarez is a member of the Latinx Outreach Leadership Advisory Board at Delta
Airlines, the Orange County School of the Arts Foundation Board and serves on
the advisory board of the Latino Donor Collaborative. Lastly, she is on the board of
Governors at Chapman University.
Her dedication to community service is linked strongly to her Latinidad which
helped her build a strong professional foundation.
“I love the richness of having the cultural grounding and background of being
Latina because we’re fighters and hard workers and always looking forward to
taking care of our families,” she says. Her Latina roots have helped her develop
kinship with bank clients that go as far back as 25 years.
“I lead with being a Latina,” she shares. “It’s my identity.” LS
